Seniors Elayne White and Ivan Marquez are back to back District Champs in Mixed Doubles. The dynamic duo won the 32-4a title Wednesday at the district meet in Mercedes. White and Marquez beat the Edcouch-Elsa team.This is the second year in row that the Mercedes team has won it all. In other action for Mercedes: Boys singles Michael Gomez placed 3rd while Abraham “Hammy” Cantu finished in 4th. In Girls doubles Chelsea Montoya and Victoria Rodriguez placed 3rd and Krystal Perales and Kaylin White placed 4th. In boys doubles Gabriel Gonzalez and Ismael “Smiley” Longoria finished in 2nd.
